The Environmental Stewardship Recommendations for Contractors training is for professionals who are doing restoration, landscaping, construction, or road maintenance work. We will cover topics such as navigating pesticide rules and laws, applying for soil erosion permits, helpful organizations and information for environmental management, and mitigating tree damage and oak wilt spread. The day will end with a Q & A panel with all speakers.

This event has been approved for 3 pesticide applicator credits through the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD), as well as the following from International Society of Arborists (ISA): 5.00 Arborist, 1.00 BCMA-Science, 4.00 BCMA-Practice, 5.00 Tree Climber, and 2.00 Urban Forest.
